Christian Teachers Leaving NEA

The Christian Educators Association International, which is a Christian alternative to the National Education Association, says it has seen an increase in enrollment since the NEA recently voted to throw its full support behind homosexual marriage or civil unions, and members voted down a resolution calling for the NEA to take a "no-position" stance on abortion. "Quite frankly, our phone has been ringing off the hook as former NEA members want out and are joining us," said Finn Laursen, Executive Director of CEAI. "And the reason many are considering us as an alternative is, first of all, we operate from a Christian worldview," said Laursen. For more information about CEAI go to www.ceai.org. [OneNewsNow.com]
