Launching Re:Train

Mars Hill Church of Seattle is excited to be opening their new Resurgence Training Center (Re:Train) in Seattle—courses begin this August. Initially, the school will offer a Master in Missional Leadership (36-hour graduate program), with much more to come.

I am pleased to announce here this incredible lineup of instructors:

• Bruce Ware (teaching Missional Christology)
• Greg Allison (Missional Ecclesiology)
• Ed Stetzer (Missional Missiology)
• John Piper (Leader as Prophet)
• Sam Storms (Leader as Priest)
• Rick Melson, Executive Director of ReTrain (Leader as King)
• Mark Driscoll (Missional Practicum)

This is a premier opportunity, but enrollment will be limited to 50–60 students during the ‘09–’10 school year. Applications are due July 1 and will be available this Sunday (5/31) at theresurgence.com.


I'd consider crawling on my knees all the way to Seattle to get into this. Hopefully it'll be at the right price and time, and I will get selected - though I suspect small church & small town pastors might not be high on their priority list. Worst case is they'll say no. I do already have a M.Div. but this quality of instruction cannot be passed up.
