Things of note...

"Influential — Voices of Faith" is a new program being launched by ABC News. ABC plans to broadcast sermons submitted from churches, synagogues, temples and mosques across the country. The sermon must be 15 minutes or less so that it can run uncut on the show. For more information on this offer, go to ABC News.

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe — the film based on the C.S. Lewis children's classic — sold an estimated $67 million worth of tickets on its opening weekend, more than the next nine most popular films of the weekend combined.

I have to say that I'm a little baffled by the ABC news. First, that they are at all seriously interested in religion is a very odd turn of circumstances. Plus I wonder what kind of selection process there will be to choose which sermons they use. I wonder if any truly conservative Biblical sermons would be chosen over those which are more friendly to ABC's worldview.

Many of the same questions came to my mind, and the only answer I could come up with is submit them anyhow and wait and see. I would love to see John MacArthur submit some sermons!
